World Première "Slave – A Question of Freedom"
This incredible show will take your breath away!
Don't miss the opportunity to enjoy this remarkable World Première, prior to a House of Lords performance and West End transfer.
A cast of eight international actors present Mende Nazer's inspiring story of slavery and freedom. It is a theatrical feast of storytelling, music and dance which celebrates the beauty of the ancient Nuba culture and her indomitable spirit in the face of shattered dreams.
The production itself premieres at The Lowry, Salford Quays, from 23-27 November 2010. The Gala Night on Wednesday 24th is also Press Night and both Mende and Damien Lewis will be joining for the evening performance.
VIP tickets are available which entitle guests to a post-show champagne reception and an introduction to Mende and Damien.
Profits from VIP ticket sales go directly to the Mende Nazer Foundation, which aims to raise enough money to build a school in Mende's former home in the Nuba mountains.
"People shouldn't be bought and sold. Please give voice to the voiceless." – Mende Nazer

I went to this last night and would highly recommend this, it was so inspiring and I am glad to see it is being aired at the House of Lords, lets hope this allows more people to be able to find their voice.
