Objectives of the Foundation
The aim of the Foundation is the establishment of educational facilities for children and young people in the area of Nuba Mountains, Southern Kordofan, Sudan.
The Foundation works in consultation and cooperation with the regional public authorities to select suitable sites for development, plan educational programmes with the assistance of appropriate experts and provide funding for construction to be carried out according to current regulations.
The funds of the Foundation may also be used to pay teachers for a specified period in existing educational institutions or those established by the Foundation, and for the purchase of school supplies. Due to the serious water problems in the region the Foundation is also funding the construction of wells and the purification of water for the children and young people in its care.
